Dr Dawn Pan
As the daughter of two physicians in China, Dr. Dawn Pan learned early in life that healthcare is all about taking care of people. She often recalls that her mother, an OBGYN, would hold her patient’s hand, ensuring the patient that both she and her baby would be okay. She often reminds herself and her staff that “We are NOT treating teeth. Instead, we are treating human beings with dental needs.”
Dr. Pan’s goal is to create a positive dental experience, one patient at a time. She gives each patient 100% of her attention by not having multiple patients in the chair at the same time, or a roomful of people in her waiting area.
Witnessing how fearful some people can be in the dental office due to terrifying childhood experiences, Dr. Pan’s biggest ambition is for the children who grow up with her practice to say, “I love to see my dentist!” Dr. Pan smiles the biggest whenever parents tell her that their children “can’t wait to see their dentist!”
To Dr. Pan, dentistry is a calling. She is looking forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and being a part of your life for years to come.
Outline of professional path:

Dr ARushi
Hi, I’m Dr. Arushi! I started working with Dr. Pan as an assistant before I started Dental School. Gaining first hand experience with how rewarding dentistry could be reinforced my decision to go to Dental school. Throughout my time in dental school, I continued to assist Dr. Pan and also spent some time working the front desk as well. I graduated from University of the Pacific dental school, and have spent most of my life immersed in dentistry. In my free time, I love to do anything artistic, from painting to baking to crocheting. Coming back to Dr. Pan’s office as a dentist and reconnecting with the team has been a joy. I love working at Dr. Pan’s office because the team is tight-knit and the environment is so peaceful. Dr. Pan and I share the meaning of our first names as well: The first rays of the morning sun. It’s no wonder I feel right at home in this office!
